From time to time I like to sit back and picture the day I retire. It’s not so long from now, and I know it’s my last day; the calls are easy and my attitude is confident and carefree. I know that I get to leave, I get to be free to choose my own schedule. I think about the years past and the lessons learned and the victories won and realize that they were just stepping stones on the way to something greater. I realize that this isn’t the culmination to my journey, but a minor stepping stone on the way to true freedom where I have complete control of money and thus time, where I can make choices solely based on merit, and not pocketbook.
